The first piece of advice is to search for their company on the U.K. governement website Companies House. Click on ‘Find Company Information‘, then ‘Start Now‘. You’ll have the option to type the name of your solar installer into a search bar. Click ‘Enter’. If your installer was a U.K. Limited company, you’ll see their name appear. You can then can click on it to see if they are still ‘Active‘ or ‘Dissolved‘.
If the company is active, they may be able to help you with your solar maintenance. If they are dissolved, the company no longer exists or functions. Therefore, you will need to find an alternative solar maintenance provider.
